We are seeking **Specimen Receipt and Processing Associate** to join IQVIA Laboratories at **Valencia, CA** . Responsible for assisting with a variety of routine activities associated with the receipt of clinical specimens. **What You’ll be Doing:** + Assist with the receipt of consignments and shipments. + Open shipments and quality check patient info forms, escalating issues to senior staff. + Dispose of or recycle kit shipping supplies correctly. + Ensure specimens are not left in kit packaging by conducting secondary checks. + Support and respond to after-hour alarms and other critical functions. + Assist in maintenance of equipment and supply inventory functions. + Perform various administrative duties as required. + Organize the work area as requested by management. **What we are looking for:** + High School Diploma or equivalent. + Basic computer skills. + Ability to maintain effective reporting procedures and control workflow. + Statement: Other equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree. **The knowledge, skills, and abilities needed for this role:** + Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers, and clients. + Knowledge of laboratory procedures and safety protocols. + Strong attention to detail. + Effective communication skills. **What we offer you:** We put our employees at the center of everything we do and are committed to providing them, and their families, with benefits that meet their diverse and changing needs.
