PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Ensure to comply with JVCo and local safety, health and environment standard, fulfill the mandatory safety requirement and activities: safety training, safety meeting, Basic Safety Practice and all other requirements by JVCO EH&S and local regulation.
2. Monitor the serviceability of plant equipment and facilities and ensure they adhere to safety, housekeeping and environmental requirements.
3. Responsible for all instrument and control system equipment regular maintenance and repairing, such as all field instrumentation, valves, flowmeter, transmitter, control circuit, monitoring, DCS, PLC etc.
4. Response to maintenance requirements that could be scheduled or unscheduled/emergency jobs, on 24/7 base, prompt response to requests for assistance and putting in the time and effort to meet our customer’s expectations.
5. To be familiar with all equipment in Gasification Facility, maintain all mechanical equipment accurate documents integrity and equipment history database reachable.
6. Provide hand-on technical skills at the troubleshooting and all related maintenance work or supporting work responsible.
7. Perform preventive maintenance work and support to implement Mechanical Integrity work and tasks, troubleshooting, repair for all responsibly equipment.
8. Coordinate or assist of supervision the contractor’s work in the facility or shop to guarantee safety and quality and reliability.
9. Continually to drive productivity and cost savings and enhancement through improved work process and equipment performance. Initiate and Implement continuous improvement saving projects.
10. Reporting-Time entry weekly, and prepare technical reports either written or through entries into the resource management system to maintain accurate documentations on the plants, and to provide information for others in the organization to carry out their responsibilities effectively.
11. Provide C/I diagnostics services in troubleshooting and resolving machinery issues using vibration diagnostics tools and failure analysis techniques. This includes issuing failure analysis reports and cost effective recommendations for reliability improvements.
12. Develop control and instrument job-packs for major overhauls.
13. Initiate and implement reliability and/or efficiency improvement initiatives and best practices on operating machinery and focus on CoNC(Cost of None Compliance)
14. Provide installation and commission support for new projects
15. Participate in the planning and execution of minor and major shutdowns. Provide technical and hands on support as required during shutdowns.
16. Spare parts inventory review and parts purchasing support technically, effort in plant reliability improvement.
17. Keep abreast of and evaluate new methodologies, work practices, for Application and use within the Gasification Facility.
18. Assist in the development, implementation, and periodic review of preventative/predictive maintenance programs to reduce unplanned shutdowns and improve Gasification Facility on stream capability.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Diploma or higher education holder in instrument /control automation or other related field.
• Preferred the relative working experience in a coal chemical manufacturing environment
Working Experience: The minimum requirements for the control/instrument engineer’s position are 4+ years C/I maintenance experience in the Shell Gasification Facility.
• Strong working knowledge and hands on experience.
• Possess good oral and written communication skills, preferable with English language.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team player.
• Basic office software operation.
