Airswift (Air Energi Caspian LLP) is currently looking for a Instrumentation & Control Systems Engineer (for KZ passport holders) for one of our large project in Atyrau, 5\2. We are looking for candidates with the drive and commitment to make a genuine difference to our performance to ensure that the company continues to differentiate itself from competitors by delivering quality service to our client’s requirements.
• Work on quality engineering deliverables and project execution through engineering contractors.
• Work as part of a multidiscipline team to ensure successful delivery of associated projects.
• Work with engineers at local engineering companies in Atyrau, providing in-process design reviews, QA/QC design, ensuring timely response to engineering queries and provide technical reporting to project and discipline leadership.
• Attend and support project phases based on Agile (Scrum / Kanban) methodology
• Attend Safety Reviews / PHA sessions to support project
• Assists in the technical input to Project Engineers during framing stages of project development phases.
• Support understanding by engineering and vendor companies’ team members of automation and control design requirements and project goals based on Company issued scope documents.
• Review of vendor and contractor engineering company design documents and drawings within Instrumentation, Automation and control disciplines to ensure conformity to Company Standards and Specifications.
• Support understanding by engineering and vendor companies’ team members of instrumentation, automation and control design requirements. Review, comment and develop Cause and Effect matrices for ESD and Fire and Gas system functions.
• Work closely with Company Automation team SIS group for implementing in projects their safety system requirements based on Company Safety instrumented Systems specification.
• Develop control system architecture for integration with brown-field systems during FEED stage by working closely with Company Automation team for implementing their requirements.
• Manage to ensure design changes to engineering deliverables are understood and are completed satisfactorily by contractors.
• Specify and purchase Instrumentation, DCS, ESD, PLC Control System equipment, cables, panels, enclosures and any other I&C related material. Ensure that materials procurement for fabrication and construction complies with Company Specifications and requirements.
• Technical assistance and instruction contractor and vendor company’s engineers for developing appropriate Factory Acceptance Test Procedure (FAT), Site Acceptance Test Procedure (SAT), Functional Test Procedures (FTP) and Cause and Effect Test procedures. Adopting vendor’s procedures to Company standards. When required to develop appropriate Test procedures. Where needed, travel to vendor locations to perform Factory Acceptance Tests
• Develop / modify display graphics and P&IDs as required.
• Assists in the input to and participate in Project Planning, Scheduling and Estimates.
• Defines problems, tracks down data or drawings, proposes solutions, and assist SCM to get buy-in from stakeholders.
• Review, and issue Construction Job packs associated with Automation and control discipline.
• Ensure that all design packages comply with Company Specifications & ASME, API and other applicable national and international standards (to be familiar with PUE requirements, SNIP and GOST standards).
• Provide technical support to site construction and Start-up / Commissioning groups when required. Provide technical solutions to problems at construction site.
• Maintain and update Company Specifications & Standards in Automation and control discipline, as required.
• Where needed, travel to site to scope out project prior and/or during design or support site activities.

Critical:
• Higher Engineering Degree. (Preferably related to Automation and control systems)
• Proven work experience - not less than 3 years.
• Proficient in Control System Engineering and with AB ControlLogix, HIMA, ICS Triplex or Honeywell Safety Manager/FSC or Experion C300/HPM.
• Familiar with SIL assessments
• Proficient with different communication protocols and network architectures from end devices to and between PLCs, ESDs, Fire and Gas, SCADA, DCS and Experion systems.
• Familiar with Safety Objective Analysis, Alarm Objective Analysis, HMI Objective Analysis, HAZOP.
• Understanding of Safety Instrumented System and Process Automation system design.
• Champions and ensures the use of safe work practices and procedures and is a role model with respect to safety leadership behaviors.
• Coordinate efforts from multiple disciplines to complete the tasks of complex projects, meeting time and budget goals.

• Achieved or exceeded English level 3 on Company proficiency scale
• Demonstrate good oral and written communication skills to all levels of management.
• Experience in the selection and specification of field instrumentation
• Has experience participating in HAZOP, Design Reviews, 3-D Model Reviews.
• Has broad experience in capital projects of oil & gas fields development, understands sequence of project execution phases and can produce engineering deliverables pertinent to different stages of engineering design.
• Basic understanding of project management skills and Agile methodology.
• Proficiency in use of MS Office Programs is required.
• Proven skills in technical interactions with vendors and contractors.
• Has a good understanding of and applies knowledge of related disciplines (i.e., operations, Health Environment and Safety (HES), business development, etc).
• Familiar with Company procedures, specifications and Company Policy 24.
