Job Purpose: Primary responsibilities for this position are related to the development, maintenance and optimization of 5DX and AOI programs. Nature of Duties/Responsibilities :
Creates and maintains programs for the AOI, AXI and SPI equipment
Develops and maintains other AOI/5DX related processes, writes profiles and monitors equipment lines to ensure proper program performance, process efficiency, and ongoing quality
Works with production, engineering and machine operators to maintain equipment and to ensure efficient operation of work centers to meet production schedules
Performs customer specified modifications to programs (ECOs)
Troubleshoots process / equipment problems and fault corrections
Other duties as required
Education and Experience: Associate’s Degree / 2 year Technical Degree or equivalent experience required Bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred
2-4 years of experience supporting AOI/5DX Programming team
Understanding of the Production environment
Ability to work under deadlines (Programs, ECO)
Detail-oriented, fast learner
Able to read drawings and other written documents
Solid written and oral communication skills
Good organization and documentation skills
Strong computer skills with MS Office / Google suite experience
Has willingness to learn, takes initiative, and offers improvement ideas
Able to work effectively in a team environment
Excellent punctuality, good attendance, and reliability required
Adherence to health and safety regulations
Able to work overtime and weekends as needed
