Responsibilities

Design and implement Apstra backend subsystems for modeling intent, rendering device configuration, collecting telemetry and analyticsMeasure and improve the performance of agents and the Apstra APIWork with the networking team to devise new and effective methods of diagnosing issues in networks and computing infrastructureDevelop new data analysis tools to discover correlation and causality relationships between components of large-scale distributed systemsCollaborate with the Product Management team to define new features

Minimum Qualifications

BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related technical fieldProfessional software developmentExcellent coding skills in Python, C++Excellent problem solving and debugging skillsSolid knowledge of algorithms and data structuresGood understanding of operating systems and systems programmingExperience in building test/simulation environments for real-time systems

Preferred Qualifications

MS degree in Computer ScienceExperience in implementing, debugging and optimizing distributed systemsExperience with infrastructure management and orchestration solutions, such as VMWare, KubernetesDeep understanding of computer networking domain and protocolsExperience in writing applications for device operating systems, such as Juniper Junos, Juniper EVO, Cisco NX-OS, Arista EOS, Cumulus Linux and SONiC

Minimum Salary: $102,400.00

Maximum Salary:$147,200.00

The pay range for this position is expected to be between $102,400.00 and $147,200.00/year; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position also includes medical benefits, 401(k) eligibility, vacation, sick time, and parental leave. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Juniper’s pay range data is provided in accordance with local state pay transparency regulations. Juniper may post different minimum wage ranges for permanent residency petitions pursuant to US Department of Labor requirements.
