Software Engineer 

About the Position:


As a Software Engineer 1, you will be responsible for creating a world-class web application solution offering innovative ways to configure and visualize a highly scale cloud and network management platform. You will engineer frameworks that will be widely deployed and will evolve to become a standard. You will experiment with upcoming technologies and contribute to a source project.

Responsibilities:

Work within product oriented Agile team and closely with system architects  Engage with inspiring designers and front-end engineers, and collaborate with leading back-end engineers to create reliable APIs Bring UI mockups to life using JavaScript and React Building backend web apps and scalable software Engage in regular team meetings to identify technical and/or usability issues and fix these issues. Keep up to date with latest technologies, trends, and standards

Requirements

BS in Computer Science or STEM degree, or relevant experience. At least 2+ years of experience in Web Application development. Experience in designing and integrating RESTful APIs Knowledge of Go, Python, React, and JavaScript Strong working knowledge of JavaScript, NodeJS and modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g. React and Angular) Extensive knowledge of test automation, unit testing, TDD, and test libraries/utilities

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong experience with Typescript, React and Rxjs Good knowledge of Object-Oriented Design and Analysis MS in Computer Science Extensive knowledge of optimizing data-intensive web applications using asynchronous technology/library, such as Rxjs. AI, Machine Learning, Neural Networks, and NLP Working experience with server-side technologies such as Java, Golang, Node.js, MySQL, MongoDB and etc. Practical experience with CI/CD tools  Practical experience with clients-side development workflow tooling, such as npm(Preferred), yarn, Webpack (Preferred), Rollup and etc. Experience with designing/developing CSS library, such as Bootstrap Experience with data visualization libraries or technologies such as D3.js, Canvas/WebGL and etc. Understanding of web standards, cross-browser compatibility, and usability Strong written and verbal communications skills

 

Minimum Salary: $102,400.00

Maximum Salary:$147,200.00

The pay range for this position is expected to be between $102,400.00 and $147,200.00/year; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position also includes medical benefits, 401(k) eligibility, vacation, sick time, and parental leave. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Juniper’s pay range data is provided in accordance with local state pay transparency regulations. Juniper may post different minimum wage ranges for permanent residency petitions pursuant to US Department of Labor requirements.
