About the Position:

This position provides a great opportunity to innovate and develop packet forwarding and security functions on Juniper networks’ network security products.

Responsibilities:

As a staff software engineer, you will design, implement, and maintain software of network protocols, traffic forwarding and security functions to achieve high performance & high scalability. Fix any issues that come from customers or internal tests.

Minimum Qualifications:

10+ years of experience in networking software development or in related field. Proficiency in Unix/Linux programming, experience with Linux kernel and driver. Experience with multi-core/multi-thread CPUs programming. Good knowledge and experience in design, development and implementation of complex data-structures and algorithms. Proficiency in programming C, C++ and python. Demonstrated ability to design/ implement/debug systems level software. Strong problem-solving, good communication and presentation skills. Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or applied Computer Science.

Preferred Qualifications:

Preferred: Experience with Routing & Packet Forwarding, Platforms and infrastructure interfacing, Redundancy & High Availability .
Preferred: Experience with JUNOS and Juniper product.

Preferred: Experience with DPDK.
