We are seeking highly experienced Air Operations Center (AOC) and Air Force Forces (AFFOR) subject matter expertise to provide a Lessons Learned (LL) SME. This position will serve as an expert and program analyst with responsibility to function as one of the 505th CCW's point of contact for all LL actions. Will provide command liaison to other AOCs, AFFOR staffs, services and agencies to ensure the 505th CCW is active and aware of all LL activities and requirements. Additionally, the position is responsible for maintaining the Wing's joint LL program. Location is Hurlburt Field, FL.

Responsibilities Aid in improved information sharing of operational lessons learned garnered from attending exercise events. Disseminate information on evolving C2 systems/doctrine/processes and aid in keeping the 705 TRS instructional material current/relevant. LL SMEs apply AOC/AFFOR and operational C2 experience, subject matter familiarity to the lesson learned processes executed by AFCHQs.Support for each exercise typically consists of several planning conferences, (~5 TDY days each), several planning activities (~10 TDY days each), and an exercise execution period (~14 TDY days); these will occur at both CONUS and OCONUS locations.May be asked to participate/speak at topic-related conferences, courses, taskers, or exercises on a non-interference basis. May also write, review, edit, and provide comments on articles for publication and inclusion into the C-HQ portals. Solicit input, edit contributions and articles, and publish/disseminate C2 related articles. Host the 505th CCW Tactics and Training talk.Participate in AFCHQ/A9Ls processes while attending major operational level exercises. Assist in collecting AOC/AFFOR operational-level lessons learned.Process, analyze, coordinate, and publish validated LL via the Joint Lessons Learned Information System. Coordinate with AFLL, ACC/A9L, USAFWC/A9, and AFCHQ/A9Ls. Host the 505th CCW Tactics and Training talk.Instruct in various 505 TRG courses on LL functions and responsibilities. Schedules LL TDYs, classes and training events per the unit’s scheduling program.
