808 Maintenance Mechanic

What you will do

As a Maintenance Mechanic/Electrician, you can make a positive impact on both the environment and business at the same time.  How?  By bringing your skills and knowledge to our Remanufacturing facility in Middletown, PA!

Remanufacturing requires significantly lower consumption of natural resources, energy and contributes less CO2 emissions.  For these reasons, remanufactured components are an increasingly important part of our spare parts business, keeping our trucks running for second and third product owners.

In this position, which is a hybrid position where the majority of the work is mechanical but you will be required to know or learn basic electrical troubleshooting, we will count on you to maintain our equipment to support Production and also ensure successful implementation of new equipment.  You will support maintenance of our equipment through troubleshooting, root cause analysis and through a rigorous preventive maintenance routine.  You’ll leverage your technical expertise and analytical/troubleshooting skills to maintain and repair:

Machines and machine tools Hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems (including 480 volt, 3-phase) Gasoline and LP engines (forklifts) Plumbing Pipe fitting Electronics Fabricating/welding Basic Electrical Knowledge required (PLC's, CNC machines) Ventilation, heating and air conditioning Who are you?

You have a Journeyman card or bring a minimum of 4 years/8,000 hours on-the-job previous experience in the areas mentioned above, as well as expertise using the applicable tools of the trade. You will have a high school diploma (or GED) or Associate’s degree, and the ability to complete all necessary documentation in English.  We’ll provide an opportunity to showcase your skills and knowledge by administering a Maintenance Mechanic Exam – with written and practical elements.
