The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of settlements for multiple entities dealing the company’s grain activity.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Assist with moving certain regional check printing sites to Omaha to streamline processing and save costs Accounting for daily activity Maintain accurate records and documentation such as: Inbound/outbound ticket reconciliation of Scaletrac to Agris Settlement of tickets - payments and accounts receivable Payment of operating expenses Preparation, review and analysis of various reports, including the daily position report, hedge position report and reconciliation report Filing and scanning of documents on shared drive Working settlement discounts and reconciliations Working with all plants on any accounting issues relating to Agris Working with various individuals - internal and external Perform other duties as assigned by managementQualifications:
Associates degree in Accounting and/or Business desired; 1 - 3 years related grain experience or training preferred Knowledge of Microsoft Office software, internet software Experience with Agris software preferred but not required Ability to follow instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job Strong oral and written communication skills Strong customer service skills for interaction with customers, etc.Green Plains Inc. offers competitive pay: a generous benefit package including business casual work environment, health, dental, vision, life insurance, paid holidays, Paid Time Off (PTO) and a 401(k) retirement plan with immediate vesting and company safe harbor matching.
