In order to support the A400M Team in Manching, Airbus Defence and Space is looking for aA400M Certifying Staff/Support Staff CAT B1 / B2 (d/m/f)
As Certifying Staff/Support Staff CAT B1 / B2 (d/m/f) in Line and Base Maintenance you will accompany the maintenance of the world's most modern military transporter A400M at the Airbus Defence and Space site in Manching together with your colleagues. In addition, you will support A400M customers on a case-by-case basis during planned and unplanned maintenance activities worldwide.

🧾 Your tasks and responsibilities:Determination and evaluation of conformity of work performed independently or by qualified personnel. Release of work within the scope of maintenance activities.Provide technical direction, support and supervision to non Part 66 MAML personnel.Perform troubleshooting of mechanical systems and their correction.Performing scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance activities.Set-up of mechanical modifications, retrofits, and engineering changesCarrying out repairs according to technical specificationsFunctional tests and adjustments of mechanical componentsCarrying out findings, evaluations and assessment of deviationsDismantling and upgrading workAssembly and disassembly activitiesCarrying out complex system testsIndependent management of the work-related documentation
🎯 Desired skills and qualificationsCompleted vocational training as an aircraft mechanic or comparable trainingExtensive experience in civil/military aircraft maintenance as a prerequisiteValid EASA/DEMAR Part 66 AML CAT B1 / B2 with type ratingsExperience in an EASA/DEMAR 145 maintenance organization is an advantageYou are willing to travel and flexible (the job includes assignments at our customers in Germany and abroad)You show a high degree of team spirit, resilience and service orientationYou have the ability to solve problems and show a very high degree of independenceYou have a very high sense of responsibility and quality awarenessCharacteristic ability to meet quality requirements even under difficult conditionsWillingness and experience to work in confined spaces and at great heightsYou are familiar with applications of the MS Office packageYou have good German and fluent / business English skills
