Job Description

Reporting to the Country Manager, AA – KSA, role will be responsible for:

Strategically plan, organize, and lead the Allergan Aesthetic marketing team across KSA to meet or exceed the defined sales, profit, and market share goals and growth objectives through effective, high-quality marketing and promotional plan execution. Enable the organization to make effective decisions based on insights gathered from data, market research, and market intelligence to capitalize on the most sizeable opportunities.

Responsible for leading, managing, coaching, and developing a competent and committed Aesthetic marketing team. Actively pursues the development and growth of the marketing team.

Leading the Marketing and consumer strategy across KSA including building tactics for Toxins (Botox) and direct-to-consumer initiatives not limited to social media initiatives and reach.

Monitor and evaluate the ROI of marketing initiatives to ensure optimal allocation of investments.

Owns & manages the marketing team budgets and expense targets.

As a key member of the AA KSA leadership team the marketing lead plays a critical role in strategizing regarding the direction of the AA business operation, bring innovation, engaging employees, achieving financial goals and maintaining the highest standard of compliance.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Marketing Strategy:                                                                                                

Gather deep market, customer, consumer & competitor insights to inform strategic and tactical plan development and maintain Allergan’s leadership position.Drive the development of long and short-term marketing strategies and tactics to ensure that all product opportunities are optimized for the Allergan Aesthetics portfolio.Ensure these strategies and tactics are embodied in strategic and marketing plans as appropriate.Ensure the consumer strategy is included in all brands and countries where DTC is permissible as per the local regulations.Ensure strategies and tactics are implemented in a manner so as to maximize the return to Allergan Aesthetics and maximize market share objectives.Engage cross-functional stakeholders in the development, ownership, and delivery of the agreed marketing priorities.Support the AMI lead in the development of KOL advocacy for Allergan Aesthetics brands

Planning and Performance Tracking

Prepare the annual strategic plan for all the Allergan Aesthetics brandsPrepare and manage the annual financial budget (promo expenses) for Allergan’s Allergan Aesthetics portfolioPrepare the annual marketing plan and strategy in collaboration with key internal and external stakeholders such as KSA cross-functional team, Regional MEA, Area, and International teamEstablish & embed brand performance KPIs to ensure brand performance is tracked regularly. Provide updated forecasts in line with Allergan Aesthetics financial planning processUtilize data & insights to inform ongoing, high-level, decision makingWork on improving data and insights for market share, patient share, customer and consumer perception, and consumer insightsWork closely with Demand Planning for forecasting to ensure ongoing continuity of supplyEnsure brand budgets, forecasts, and expenses are evaluated for cost-effectiveness and resultsMonitor and evaluate the ROI of marketing initiatives to ensure optimal allocation of investmentsOwnership of the Marketing expense budgets including managing the teams’ expenses within the agreed budget and contribute toward the setting of future budgets.

Team Leadership & Coaching

Provide effective leadership & direction to a team of marketers to unite, develop and motivate team members to become high-performing and help each team member realize their full potential.Create a positive team environment through the demonstration of strong leadership behaviors, including communicating expectations clearly, instilling an atmosphere of trust and respect, and leading by example.Use a mix of coaching and development tools to help each team member realize their full potential. Performing all related people management activities, including recruiting new team members, conducting performance reviews, coaching for improved performance, reward and recognition, etc.Ensure all activities comply with legal and ethical standards.

Maintain and develop KOLs

Identify and develop key national leaders to ensure they fully support Allergan Aesthetics products and company image.Establish and organize advisory boards to ensure input to local promotional strategies and programs.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in medical or pharmaceutical Sciences and/or Business StudiesPostgraduate qualification in Business Studies would be an advantageMinimum 10 - 15 years of proven experience on Healthcare industry preferably in multinational Pharma companies FMCG and/or Aesthetics fieldMinimum 5 years of experience in marketing in KSA and/or middle East countriesMinimum 3 years of experience managing Marketing DepartmentConsumer marketing experience is a plusCommercial background with successful track record of commercial roles is a mustExperience in people management and Proven managerial skills including a proven record of Talent management and people managementExperience in managing budgets and sales forecasting
