Specific Job Functions:
• You will administer the infrastructure in support of AbInitio ETL environment and develop within an Extract/Transformation/Load (ETL) environment; including but not limited to migration, platform design, capacity planning, upgrades, testing, implementation and documentation.
• As a Team member, you will make technical contributions to the overall projects for different teams.
• Your role will be to administer the platforms from a technical perspective, communicate and identify issues, help identify milestones, set adhere to deadlines, and follow-up with Teams that have dependencies on the platforms contributing to the overall support, maintenance, design and implementation of the solution.
Required Skills
• Minimum 3 years demonstrated ability to administer the infrastructure in support of AbInitio ETL environment and develop within an Extract/Transformation/Load (ETL) environment.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in both batch and Real Time processing in AbInitio.
• Minimum 3 years’ demonstrated experience with AbInitio's EME Technical Repository.
• Minimum 2 years’ demonstrated experience with AbInitio's Enterprise Metadata Hub.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in developing and implementing solutions or projects with AbInitio graphs.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience with *nix scripting language (shell, perl).
• Minimum 3 years’ experience with *nix Operating System (RHEL, Solaris, HP, AIX)
• Minimum 3 year experience working with Teradata and / or Oracle for data warehousing / or MSSQL Server business intelligence.
Preferred Skills
• Minimum 3 years using SQL (DML, DDL) for any DBMS.
• Minimum 2 years with AbInitio’s Operational Console.
• Minimum 2 years AbInitio Application Configuration Environment (ACE) / Business Rules Environment (BRE)
• Minimum 2 year experience with OLAP Development using tools such as Hyperion Essbase, MS Analysis Services, Tableau.
• Minimum 2 years demonstrated experience with Relational Report Development using tools such as Crystal Reports or WebI, Reporting Services, etc.
• Minimum 2 years entity relationship diagrams to third normal form.
• Minimum 1 years’ experience with a versioning tool (ClearCase, SVN).
• Other Knowledge outside the Platform
• Network Troubleshooting techniques
• Storage Management.
• Encryption (PGP, GPG)
• Familiarity with SSH protocol and applications using this protocol.
• 3 – 5+ years IT experience on multiple platforms / technologies.
• Experience working with an environment subject to audit controls.
