The development center of SAP in Bulgaria plays a key role in the defining and developing of the SAP Business Technology Platform. What you´ll do

 

We are looking for a passionate ABAP Developer to join our team in Sofia as a maternity-leave replacement, contributing to exciting global topics and projects. In this role you will: 

 

Gain valuable insights into critical Business Processes while engaging directly with our large customer base. Take ownership of the entire development process, from designing and implementing user-friendly UIs to developing robust back-end functionalities and ensuring seamless integration with other SAP products. Work as a fully contributing team member with independent planning & execution responsibilities. Lead a topic independently and take individual ownership of the technical component end-to-end. Work with SAP Integration Suite to integrate cloud-based processes, services, applications, events and data. Follow emerging trends and technologies, particularly in Cloud and Generative AI, and use this knowledge to drive continuous improvement. Play a crucial role in pioneering the integration of modern AI capabilities, actively shaping the infusion of Generative AI features right from the beginning. This is a rare opportunity to make a significant impact and be part of a groundbreaking journey at the core of SAP’s value change.

 

 

What you bring

 

If you are self-driven and flexible, you are a perfect fit for our team. Further role requirements are: 

 

Degree in Informatics / Computer science or equivalent subject. Excellent programming and object-oriented design skills (JAVA, ABAP). At least 2+ years of experience Hands-on experience in writing high quality code along with unit tests. Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures and database design concepts. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Eagerness to learn and explore new topics. Ability to work with the team in the design and development aspects for the product. Ability to work independently. Goal-oriented team player with good communication skills. At least B2 level of English language proficiency – both written and spoken.
