Area Business Development Manager
The ABDM role offers job for focuses on promoting and selling insurance products through a bank's branch network within a specific geographic area
Position Responsibilities:
Sales Target Achievement: 1. Achieve and exceed sales targets and objectives for insurance products within the assigned area. 2. Develop and implement action plans to improve sales performance and increase market penetration.Relationship Building: 1. Establish and maintain strong relationships with bank branch staff, including branch managers, to facilitate effective collaboration. 2. Conduct regular visits to branches to provide support, training, and motivation to bank personnel.Product Promotion: 1. Promote insurance products to bank customers by leveraging the bank's existing customer base and networks. 2. Organize and conduct product training sessions for bank staff to enhance their product knowledge and sales skills.Market Analysis: 1. Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive activities within the area to identify opportunities for growth. 2. Provide feedback and insights to management regarding market conditions and potential business development initiatives.Customer Service: 1. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by providing prompt and efficient service. 2. Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues related to insurance products and services.Reporting and Documentation: 1. Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and feedback. 2. Prepare and submit regular reports on sales performance and market conditions to management.Compliance and Ethics: 1. Ensure all sales activities comply with industry regulations and company policies. 2. Uphold ethical standards and practices in all interactions with customers and partners.Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.Proven experience in sales, preferably within the bancassurance, insurance, or banking sector.Strong understanding of insurance products and the financial services industry.Preferred Qualifications:
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple branches within the area.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing market conditions.Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned area.When you join our team:
