JOB PURPOSE

This position is responsible for working on the overall strategy for the liquid fabric care portfolio (Surf Excel & Comfort). You will be tasked with strategic thinking on developing the portfolio and innovations and leading the activation of brand strategy across all consumer-facing channels. Additionally, this role will offer you a unique chance to build a laundry strategy for both the Premium and Mass segments.

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

Responsible for Liquids portfolio and driving competitive growth and profitability targets.

Co-creating the strategy and quarter plans by focusing on market trends and business objectives.

Lead multi-year scalable innovations and grow Liquids portfolio to drive portfolio transformation thereby unlocking full marketing mix for growth.

Collaborate with agency partners and the global team to ensure Liquid portfolio remains desirable through outstanding brand communication and activations.

Creating and maintaining marketing calendars for launches, advertising, activations, and promotions across the portfolio.

Working with cross-functional teams such as Customer development, Finance, media, digital marketing, and e-commerce teams to plan, execute, and optimize media plans.

Partnering with the CMI team to continuously enhance consumer insights and leverage data to improve marketing effectiveness.

Collaborating with the CSP and sales teams to develop shopper-centric, differentiated retailer marketing plans across the full shopper journey.

Analyze key markets and channels to develop tailored brand strategies.

Work with a digital first mindset – have the ability to be able to experiment with new platforms/ideas and move away from traditional ways of working.

Should be flexible to travel and conduct regular market visits and consumer connects to stay closer to customer and consumer.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

Experiences

At least 2 years of brand management experience  

Skills

Strong marketing skills in brand building and performance analysis.

Stakeholder Management capability and strong interpersonal skills.

Possesses a strong bias for action.

Rigor and adaptability to thrive in a complex environment with numerous opportunities.

Proven ability to analyze data e.g retail audit and consumer panels to extract key actionable insights.

Solid understanding of the media landscape in Pakistan.

Good understanding of a P&L to be able to work on pricing scenarios with commercial and with Supply Chain on controlling costs. 

Deep consumer obsession, with a keen understanding of current needs and curiosity about future trends.
