HOW A ABMS TEST ENGINEER/IA WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Prepares and maintains documentation for processes and procedures related to engineering projects
Create and maintain system architecture and troubleshooting documentation
Prepare plans and assessments, such as management engineering plans, integrated support plans, meeting presentations and implementation plans
Research and documents analysis in technical reports and presents findings and recommendations to meet program requirements
Coordinates system development to include design, modeling, security, integration, and formal testing
Contributes to completion of specific engineering programs and projects
Develops solutions to a variety of complex engineering problems
Perform complex systems design, development, and integration from the start of a systems life cycle to the end
Provide higher tier support and in-depth hardware and OS troubleshooting, configuration, backup, security measures, backup, and disaster recovery services.
Determine system specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility.
Provide input and participation in briefings, transitioning concepts to execution, course of action (COA) development, and assisting in project technical planning and implementation.
Develop and maintain standard operation procedures (SOPs) and system documentation.
Collaborate with managers, network and systems engineers, team members, and customers on solutions and issues.
Review, analyze, and verify current security configuration and effectiveness in response to DoD requirements and emerging threats.
Achieve and maintain Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) compliance.
Continuous improvement mindset to ensure quality of delivered services.
Mentor and coach less experienced team members.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education: Bachelor’s degree (in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related field)
Required Experience: 5+ years of related experience.
Required Technical Skills: Understanding of networking and internet protocols, familiar with Familiar with Cloud Service Providers, experience working within an Agile development environment
Security Clearance Level: Top Secret with SCI eligibility
