Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Abrasive Blasters for projects located in the San Diego, CA area. This is a second shift opportunity and the pay rate is $30/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
Prepare surfaces using a propelling a stream of abrasive material against a surface under high pressure 100 to 120 psi to roughen a smooth surface to remove surface contaminantsRemove adhering scale paint and/or multilayer rustWork on ships at heights and confined areas at blast and paint facility and/or in paint pit using air feed respiratorSet up & use abrasive blast gear and equipmentOperate high reaching equipmentPerform other related tasks as assigned some of which may become essential to the position Requirements Must pass drug screen and background checkMust have respirator fit testOSHA 10 Maritime, and Firewatch Certification1+ year experience on abrasive blasting activities or SSPC C7 Certification Company DetailsTradesmen International not only offers consistent work, top pay, and employment opportunities, we also provide a benefits package that is among the best in the industry.
