The Project Manager will add value to the center by providing standardized project management processes, and work closely with the Change Management team to deliver the assigned project in a timely, cost-effective and qualitative manner from the pre-planning phase through closing out of the project.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Planning and Defining Project Scope: Project Managers are responsible for defining the project's objectives, deliverables, and scope. They create a detailed project plan, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.

Organizing and Leading the Project Team: Project Managers assemble and manage a team of individuals with the necessary skills and expertise to execute the project. They assign tasks, provide guidance, and ensure effective collaboration among team members.

Managing Project Budget and Resources: Project Managers are responsible for creating and managing the project budget, including tracking expenses, monitoring resource utilization, and ensuring cost-effectiveness. They also procure necessary resources and manage vendor relationships.

Monitoring and Controlling Project Progress: Project Managers regularly monitor project progress, track key performance indicators, and identify any deviations from the plan. They implement corrective actions, manage risks, and ensure that the project stays on track to meet its objectives.

Communicating and Reporting: Project Managers are responsible for effective communication with stakeholders, including team members, clients, and senior management. They provide regular project updates, report on progress, and address any concerns or issues that arise during the project lifecycle.

Educational Background:

Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following fields of study:

Finance, Accounting, Management Information Systems, Management Information Systems & Accounting, Computer and Information Science, Computer and Information Science & Accounting, Information Science, Economics, Economics and Finance, Economics and Finance & Technology, Business Administration/Management, Engineering, Accounting & Technology, Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, Mathematical Statistics, and/or other relevant degrees

Essential Requirements/Skills:

Certification in Project Management 

At least 7 years of Project Management work experience 

A strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques is crucial. This includes skills in project planning, risk management, budgeting, and resource allocation.

Excellent leadership abilities to guide and motivate teams. Effective communication skills are also essential for collaborating with stakeholders, resolving conflicts, and providing clear project updates.

Understanding industry trends, regulations, and best practices can help in making informed decisions and managing project complexities.

Skilled in identifying and resolving issues that arise during the project lifecycle. Make timely and informed decisions, considering the project's objectives, constraints, and stakeholder expectations.

Be adaptable and flexible, able to adjust plans, allocate resources, and manage risks effectively to keep the project on track especially in an agile PwC environment.

Other Capabilities:

Strong emotional intelligence to understand and manage their own emotions, as well as effectively navigate relationships and dynamics within the project team and with stakeholders.

Being able to find mutually beneficial solutions, manage disagreements, and maintain positive relationships is essential for project success especially during situations that require negotiation and conflict resolution.
