NetApp Pre-Sales Solution Architect:
Key responsibilities
• Solution Design: Develop and design technical solutions that meet customer requirements and align with NetApp’s product offerings.
• Customer Engagement: Engage with customers to understand their business needs and technical requirements.
• Technical Presentations: Deliver technical presentations and demonstrations to customers, showcasing the value and capabilities of NetApp’s solutions.
• Proposal Development: Create detailed proposals and responses to RFPs (Requests for Proposals), including technical specifications and project timelines.
• Collaboration: Work closely with sales, engineering, and product teams to ensure solutions are feasible and align with product capabilities.
• Proof of Concept (PoC): Lead the development and execution of PoCs to demonstrate the effectiveness of proposed solutions.
• Market Awareness: Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to provide informed recommendations to customers.
Qualifications and certifications
• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: 12+ years of experience in a presales or technical consulting role, preferably in the Storage, Technology or Software industry.
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of NetApp’s product suite, cloud computing, and enterprise architecture. Familiarity with consulting process is a plus.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and propose innovative solutions.
• Certifications: NetApp Certified Technology Solutions Professional (NS0-004), Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS, TOGAF, ITIL) are advantageous.
