AC Technician

DescriptionThe air-conditioning technicians are responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing of air-conditioning equipment. They can even do heating or refrigeration work, as they are trained to work on both heating and cooling units, including motors, switches, pumps, wiring, thermostats and fans.

Key Responsibilities\nThe A/C Technicians install, inspect, maintain, and repair air conditioner.\nVentilate equipment and controls making sure they operate efficiently and continuously.  \nPerform regular maintenance work on cooling units.\nDiagnose electrical and mechanical defects and malfunctions.\nInstall, replace, or repair equipment that has been damaged.\nMake adjustment and do calibrations of thermostatic controls.\nInstall new air-conditioning systems and equipment.\nInspect and maintain refrigerators and ice machines, and chilled water supply systems.\nClean blowers and coils, check tensions of belts and motors.\nMake plans and designs of new air-conditioning systems including their installation and maintenance.\nAdditional responsibilities and tasks can be added at any time according to the needs of the business and of the hotel.



Skills, Knowledge and Expertise\nNationality: Lebanese
Education : Certificate in HVAC
Experience:  5 years experience in air conditioning operation\nLanguage:   Local language – excellent oral and written skills (as applicable
                       English – good oral and written skills

Competencies:
Faculty of analysis, evaluation and decision making in  the day-to-day business and in the case of emergency 
Software office (word, Excel, Access)
Engineering Administration system \n
