The Role
The ACA Reporting Business Analyst is part of a small, focused team with representation from compliance, service center, BOC, project managers and business analysts. The team is responsible for driving, streamlining and improving the ACA reporting process with the IRS for our entire health and welfare outsourcing administration business. This work is highly visible and dynamic and requires flexibility and creative problem solving. You will serve a key leadership role on a shared services team, and you will be a link to our internal client teams, external vendors, and, in some cases, external clients. You will contribute to the implementation, ongoing support and process improvement of the 6055/6056 reporting services. You will also consult with internal client teams concerning implementation best practices, provide ongoing technical support, and train client team members. You will have the opportunity to develop your technical, analytical, problem solving, leadership, communication and consulting skills in a small, focused team while serving a multi-million-dollar health and welfare outsourcing business.

3-5 years of experience as a Business AnalystUnderstanding of the fundamentals of health and welfare and broader benefit plan design preferredFunctional or industry knowledge/experience in the application of technology to solve human resource needs such as: Health and welfare plan administration, HR self service (IVR, web, etc.), HR systems integration, HR shared services or HRIS/payrollPrior experience as a business analyst in a consulting environment preferredIntermediate to advanced SQL skillsExperience with relational databases including SQL, Oracle or Access preferredExperience with data analysis and Microsoft ExcelExperience with test plan creation, testing procedures and test plan execution preferredStrong analytical, integrative and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsSolid interpersonal skills and client service orientationAbility to work both independently and on client teams, including virtual work teams with members in different geographic regionsStrong organizational abilities and flexibility to work in a performance driven environment managing multiple project prioritiesSense of accountability, owning one’s work and taking pride in it; commitment to quality and continuous improvementDesire to learn, accept new challenges, and have funBachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, management information systems, human resources management, benefits administration or related fieldAbility to travel and work extended hours as neededThis position will remain posted for a minimum of three business days from the date posted or until sufficient/appropriate candidate slate has been identified.
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary range and benefits information for this position are being included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that base salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, qualifications/experience, and performance in the role.
Compensation
The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is $82,000- $90,000 USD per year. This role is also eligible for an annual short-term incentive bonus.
