The Department of Kinesiology is home to about 800 undergraduates who are pursuing a variety of career interests The Advisor will have an essential role in guiding prospective and current Kinesiology majors through their degree requirements Close attention to detail is vital to ensure student success and degree progress Additionally the advisor will lead orientation efforts for the Department and facilitate all change of major workshops which requires collaboration with the School of Public Health Advising team as well as the need to successfully work independently This position reports to the Department Chair
