Job Description
SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Associate Provost, Academic Programs and Assessment the Academic Affairs Implementation Specialist provides support for the BCMSU merger of existing student information systems on two of the University’s campuses, including catalog, curriculum, and degree auditing. The Academic Affairs Implementation Specialist supports Workday with decision-level consultation in the Academic Affairs area for conversion from Banner to Workday Student.
**Continued employment in this position is contingent upon the project's duration, workload needs, and available funding.**
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Workday Change Management
Provide guidance and support to the Academic Affairs Workday team.
Collaborate and consult with Enrollment Management, and IT Workday teams.
Develop a comprehensive change management strategy and plan that outlines the approach, activities, timeline, and responsibilities for managing the people side of the implementation of the Workday Project recommendations.
Identify key stakeholder groups impacted by the change and develop a communication plan to keep them informed and engaged throughout the change process.
Collaborate in the design and delivery of any needed training programs and knowledge transfer activities related to the implemented recommendations.
Provide post-implementation support and reinforcement activities to sustain the changes and address any emerging issues or needs.
Academic Program and Course Inventory Management
Provide subject matter expertise around academic program and course inventory management.
Assist with training of resources on processes, procedures, and existing software application(s) related to academic program and course inventory management.
Contribute to the data entry in the creation and maintenance of records in the client’s existing software applications related to academic program and course inventory management.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
REQUIRED:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
At minimum of four years of experience in Higher Education in a leadership role.
Experience with Student Information Systems – Banner, Colleague, Workday.
Experience with curriculum management and Courseleaf CIM, CAT and CLSS.
Ability to work with and support administrators, faculty and staff.
PREFERRED:
Master’s degree from an accredited college or university.
