They assemble high-quality content based on specific product requirements for programs and understand the solution design. They collaborate with other Academic Design Directors, Academic Design Managers, and Product Managers to help develop high-quality math assessments (both conceptualization and implementation). Depending on project needs, Academic Designers take on specific project assignments, collaborating with a team of Academic Designers throughout the various stages of product development. **This is a remote position open to applicants authorized to work for any employer within the United States.** **This is a Project Status Worker (PSW) role.** **What you will be doing:** + Work closely with the Director of K-12 Math Assessment, Manager of K-12 Math Assessment to execute on multi-year publishing plans. Tasks include ensuring that all content developed meets highest standards of academic integrity and quality, and working with cross-functional teams to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget constraints. + Serve as a math assessment expert contributing to the maintaining and updating the math skill spine that underlies McGraw Hill’s products + Collaborate with Learning Analytics to maintain a metadata strategy as well as build and incorporate multiple measures of assessment into math proficiency. + Act as the point of contact with vendors, internal engineering teams, contractors, and Academic Design teams to ensure timeliness and quality of work + Understand the implications of customer and sales deadlines, state curriculum requirements, and budget and resource limitations on workflow and schedule. + Work closely and collaboratively with cross-functional teams to develop best workflow, understand resources and schedule benchmarks for program needs. + Maintain knowledge of item and assessment development to support quality monitoring and innovation. **We are looking for someone with…** + Bachelor’s Degree in math or a math-related area + At least 3 years of experience in math assessment.
