Academic Designers on the Math In-Market team are content and curriculum experts. Their work includes both maintenance and enhancement of the products our customers use. They collaborate with cross-functional teams, Academic Design Managers, and team members to respond to product requests, update existing materials, and develop new content to add value to existing products. This is a remote position open to applicants authorized to work for any employer within the United States. What you will be doing: Resolve internal and external requests for revisions and updates to existing mathematics products. Respond clearly and effectively to internal and external questions regarding curricular design and content in our existing mathematics products. Work collaboratively to facilitate the processes of product revision. Support sales and marketing teams by providing feedback and information for RFPs and customer questions. Effectively prioritize work to maximize benefit for the customer Work collaboratively with team members to develop high-quality print and digital product enhancements based on specific product requirements for programs and understand the blended curriculum and instructional solution design. Propose product enhancement ideas, features, and improvements Communicate with fellow team members about project progress and develop solutions to address issues. Produce accurate, error-free, high-quality products that meet curriculum standards and market requirements, and display appropriate content, reading level, grammar, and style. Conduct quality assurance testing of digital assets within a variety of authoring tools, digital platforms, and applications. Demonstrate strong understanding of math pedagogy, strategies, and assessment Work closely with cross-functional teams and project leads to support small state adoptions What you need to be considered: Bachelor’s degree in education, math, or related field 5+ years of experience in teaching elementary math At least 2 years of experience in product development Deep content and pedagogical knowledge in mathematics Experience with both print and digital education platforms Superior written and verbal communication skills Experience with McGraw Hill mathematics materials, especially Reveal Math preferred Experience working with an Agile methodology preferred Experience with Jira preferred Here’s what we offer: At McGraw Hill, you will be empowered to make a real impact on a global scale. The pay range for this position is between $50,000 - $70,000 annually, however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.  Additionally, a full range of medical and/or other benefits may be provided, depending on the position offered.
