Academic Professional Track (Non-Tenure): Open Rank Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences Location College Station, Texas Open Date 7/13/2021 Position ID 71815 Description The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, School of Medicine at Texas A&M University invites applications for a full-time or part-time, Academic Professional Track (Non-Tenure) adult and child & adolescent psychiatry positions with an 11-month academic appointment, renewable annually. Applicants will be considered for a faculty rank of Clinical Assistant, Associate or full Professor depending on qualifications. Opportunities are available to be a part of a growing academic clinical enterprise. In addition to outpatient practice, positions are available in addictions, emergency, consult/liaison and geriatric psychiatry. Opportunities also exist to develop integrative and collaborative care initiatives, including by way of telehealth, with local primary care physicians. A neuro-modulation clinic is under development. The department is actively involved in medical education and has a newly accredited psychiatry residency training program.
