Duties and Responsibilities
+ Manages and completes academic record requests in a timely manner including and not limited to: p/n , change of registration, enrollment verification, transcripts, sports eligibility requests ; while also handling requests that may require priority turn around or other customized processing.
+ Maintains DocFinity job workflow up to date and regularly uses this system to access records and other documents.
+ Promptly addresses and troubleshoots academic record requests, Parchment orders, DocFinity documents and other record related projects as needed.
+ Provides records team and transcript team coverage as needed, via in person, by phone or e-mail.
+ Demonstrates good judgment in troubleshooting records and transcript related issues.
+ Completes National Student Clearinghouse enrollment and degree verification requests.
+ Maintains regular communication with students, third party requestors and internal colleagues as it relates to the processing of academic record requests.
+ Assures that all student records handling and processing are in compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act ( FERPA ).
+ Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education and/or Work Experience
High school diploma or equivalent and one to three years of relevant experience.
Qualifications
+ College degree preferred.
+ Strong interpersonal skills in working with students, parents and LUC colleagues.
+ Previous experience in an office environment required.
+ Good computer and records management experience required.
+ Excellent customer service skills required.
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple tasks, and meet established deadlines.
+ Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing; to react flexibly to shifting demands.
+ Good analytical and troubleshooting skills.
+ Excellent attention to detail, multitasking and organizational skills.
+ Must be a self-starter with the ability to adapt to changing processes and procedures.
Certificates/Credentials/Licenses
High school diploma or equivalent and one to three years of relevant experience.
Computer Skills
Proficiency with MS Office Suite (especially Word, Excel), e-mail, Adobe PDF , Teams and Zoom.
