About the Role

The Academic Support Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and client satisfaction within the academic support team. This position involves a combination of onboarding support, health check coordination, special client-facing project management, and handoff tracking to enhance client engagement and team efficiency.

Responsibilities

Onboarding Support:

Assist with updating and standardizing onboarding templates and sequences for new B2B partners.Deploy new client swag with personalized cards from the ASM/team upon onboarding/renewal.Manage the creation and post-onboarding survey deployment utilizing Outreach/Gong Engage in partnership with the Academic Success Team.

Health Checks:

Pull usage data for analysis and reporting purposes at 3- and 6-month marks.Prepare usage report files and assist with academic journey PowerPoint decks for analysis and review on kick-off and health check calls for high-touch accounts.Set calendar reminders and outreach sequences for Academic Support Managers' health check outreach.

Special Client-Facing Project Coordination:

Manage promotion and outreach initiatives for events like Raise the Line Faculty Award Communication and other client-facing alerts and communication plans.Assist in managing conference and client visits calendar for the team.Formalize and oversee new SOP for new client and renewal swag packages and ordering in accordance with Elsevier gift policies. Coordinate client mailers and swag distribution as needed.

Handoff Tracking:

Champion the new handoff form process in Salesforce.Track handoff processes to ensure smooth transitions between team members.

Requirements

Have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Education, Business, Communication, etc.).Experience in project coordination and client-facing roles.Display exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.Have positive demeanor, willingness to join client-facing calls and events as needed.Are Proficient in calendar management and data analysis.Have familiarity with onboarding processes and templates, or willingness to learn.Have knowledge of Salesforce, Outreach, Slack, High Spot, Microsoft Suite are highly valued.
