As the Advanced Control and Monitoring Systems (ACaMS) Program Manager, you will be responsible for providing program leadership in support of Program Neo and will report to the Program Executive. This includes providing programmatic leadership to the extended ACaMS team with oversight of cost, schedule, and delivery specifically for this controls workscope. Responsibilities include coordinating communications across the ACaMS organization as well as key program/project stakeholders and customers.  Facilitation of program governance activities, tracking/managing earned value and ownership of the Risk Management process for this workscope are responsibilities of this position.

The ACaMS Program Team is focused on the design/development/realization of the next generation Aero Engine Control System.  The ACaMS system is designed to deliver world class efficiency, diagnostics, and cyber treat protection via a modern architectural solution.  The ACaMS development team will serve a wide range of gas turbine engines/applications. The ACaMS team scope includes a wide variety of components within the control system including the Computing System, Health Monitoring System, and the integration of the Hydromechanical and Sensing/Control components.  The ACaMS team consists of a wide variety of functional team members including Embedded Systems Engineers, Software Developers, Electronics and Complex Hardware Engineers as well as Safety, Certification, Quality, Component and Applications Engineers.

Key Accountabilities:

Coordination and Communication across the Program TeamCoordination with key program stakeholders including internal program/project leads as well as external customers.Support Program Governance and Reporting with oversight of total program budgetCoordination with the Business Manager / IMS lead regarding Earned Value Management and ScheduleLeadership for managing, tracking and compliance for all program deliverablesLeadership of Risk Management for the projectSupport of follow-on proposals, contract mods and financial planning activity for internal and external purposesSupport of the Program Leadership Team as required

Basic Requirements:

Associate’s degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, Program Management or Operations with 7+ years’ experience in an engineering environment, US government contracting, FAR15 or FAR12 OR;Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, Program Management or Operations with 5+ years’ experience in an engineering environment, US government contracting, FAR15 or FAR12 OR;Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, Program Management or Operations with 3+ years’ experience in an engineering environment, US government contracting, FAR15 or FAR12 OR;JD/PHD OR;9+ years’ experience in Engineering, Finance, Program Management, or Operations in an engineering environment, US government contracting, FAR15, or FAR12 in lieu of a degreeTo be considered for this opportunity, you must be a US Citizen

Preferred Requirements:

Demonstrated experience managing major projects/programs including new product introduction, PMP certification desiredDemonstrated experience with managing Schedules and Earned Value (IMPR, IPMDAR, etc.) including the tools utilized to for management and reporting.Experience with ARM or a similar Risk Management tool and familiarity with the new Rolls-Royce standard Risk ToolFamiliarity with various aspects of Controls Systems, particularly those used in Aerospace SystemsExperience working in an Agile/Scrum Management System/Environment including the tolls/methods used to coordinate tasking and reportingExceptional interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team environment; willingness to accept responsibility and take initiative; and drive to finish assigned tasks on schedule and in line with cost/budget targetsAn excellent command of the English language for both written and oral communications
