Program Summary

KBR leads the government services world contingency market by providing responsive, full-service logistics support to forces and civilians deployed around the world under KBR’s Strategic Army Portfolio. KBR’s enduring mission support of the DoD Armed Forces dates back to 1992 when we served as the Army’s original prime contractor for its Logistics Civil Augmentation Program (LOGCAP). Today, we have a workforce of ~5,000 people representing 30 nationalities who perform work in 10 countries. Under the Agriculture Cleaning and African Swine Fever (ASF) Sanitization (ACAS) contract; KBR will manage and perform the receipt, storage, maintenance, cleaning and sanitation of vehicles and property.

Job Summary

As a Field Security Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the coordination of installation access across multiple locations in accordance with Host Nations' applicable procedures, adapting to changing security levels and submitting required documentation to clear personnel access in a timely manner.

Please note: This position will be located on-site, in multiple countries across the Eastern EU and is contingent upon award.

Roles and Responsibilities

Manages the submission of employee credentials, such as passport copies and Police Good Conduct Certificates (PGCC), ensuring all necessary security clearances are obtained at the contractor's expense.

Ensures compliance with all security requirements, maintains records of personnel clearances, and manages security needs as outlined in DD Form 254, ensuring personnel meet the clearance requirements for project tasks. (H.5.2)

Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications (Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)

Must be able to pass a U.S. Government background investigation and obtain a Secret Clearance. Due to this, you must be a U.S. Citizen or a U.S. Green Card holder who has lived within the United States for at least the last 3 years to be eligible for this position

Requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of experience. A High School Diploma or equivalent and an additional 3 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Must possess knowledge of force protection procedures and practices.

Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience with conducting formal investigations.

Must have knowledge of interview and investigative techniques and written reports related to security incidents.

Must have the ability to give security education and instructional presentations.

Requires proficiency in Microsoft applications such as but not limited to Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook.

Must have an expansive knowledge of security systems.

Requires a valid passport with at least 12 months of validity and 6 blank pages.
