Program Summary

KBR leads the government services world contingency market by providing responsive, full-service logistics support to forces and civilians deployed around the world under KBR’s Strategic Army Portfolio.  KBR’s enduring mission support of the DoD Armed Forces dates back to 1992 when we served as the Army’s original prime contractor for its Logistics Civil Augmentation Program (LOGCAP). Today, we have a workforce of ~5,000 people representing 30 nationalities who perform work in 10 countries.  Under the Agriculture Cleaning and African Swine Fever (ASF) Sanitization (ACAS) contract; KBR will manage and perform the receipt, storage, maintenance, cleaning and sanitation of vehicles and property.

Job Summary

As a Laborer, you will work under the direction of the appropriate Labor Foreman, and performs interior cleaning of vehicles and equipment following established washdown and agricultural inspection guidelines, such as AFPMB Technical Guide No. 31

Please note: This position will be located on-site, in multiple countries across the Eastern EU and is contingent upon award.

Roles and Responsibilities

Executes tasks including sweeping, using compressed air, or wet/dry vacuuming to clean vehicle cabs, floor areas, under seats, trunks, spare tires, and wells.Removes detachable flooring to thoroughly clean and remove dirt and debris.Applies and use approved disinfectants and cleaning methods, and ensures vehicle electronics remain undamaged when using water pressure machines or steam cleaners by protecting dashboards and sensitive areas.Follows all safety protocols, including wearing required personal protective equipment, in compliance with environmental and quality standards.Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications (Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)

Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent.This is an entry-level role; no special knowledge or experience is required. Skills may be required through on-the-job training.Must have a valid Driver’s License.Must be able to lift at least 70 pounds on a regular basis. Requires climbing, reaching, bending, squatting, crawling.Must be able to work outdoors in extreme conditions to include heat, cold, dust and rain.Requires a valid passport with at least 12 months of validity and 6 blank pages.

Preferred Qualifications (Preferred Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)

Forklift operation certification.Previous training/experience in similar laborer roles.Effective communication and teamwork skills.Flexibility to support various tasks and the mission as needed.Prior experience on a LOGCAP or similar BOS contract.
