Program Summary
KBR leads the government services world contingency market by providing responsive, full-service logistics support to forces and civilians deployed around the world under KBR’s Strategic Army Portfolio. KBR’s enduring mission support of the DoD Armed Forces dates back to 1992 when we served as the Army’s original prime contractor for its Logistics Civil Augmentation Program (LOGCAP). Today, we have a workforce of ~5,000 people representing 30 nationalities who perform work in 10 countries. Under the Agriculture Cleaning and African Swine Fever (ASF) Sanitization (ACAS) contract; KBR will manage and perform the receipt, storage, maintenance, cleaning and sanitation of vehicles and property.
Job Summary
As a Laborer, you will lead vehicles through congested or confined areas within the AGWash complex, critical to the safety of personnel.
Please note: This position will be located on-site, in multiple countries across the Eastern EU and is contingent upon award.
Roles and Responsibilities
Communicates with equipment operators using hand and arm signals, ensuring both parties have a clear understanding of movements, including when utilizing filtered flashlights or chem-lights in low-visibility situations.Wears appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) including at a minimum: reflective belts, eye protection, gloves, and flashlights/chem-lights.Works as a two person guide team for each piece of Material Handling Equipment (MHE), providing both forward and rear escorts due to the high traffic and reduced visibility when moving 20 ft. containers through the wash area.Perform other duties as assigned.Basic Qualifications (Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent.This is an entry-level role; no special knowledge or experience is required. Skills may be required through on-the-job training.Must have a valid Driver’s License.Must be able to lift at least 70 pounds on a regular basis. Requires climbing, reaching, bending, squatting, crawling.Must be able to work outdoors in extreme conditions to include heat, cold, dust and rain.Requires a valid passport with at least 12 months of validity and 6 blank pages.Preferred Qualifications (Preferred Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)
Forklift operation certification.Previous training/experience in similar laborer roles.Effective communication and teamwork skills.Flexibility to support various tasks and the mission as needed.Prior experience on a LOGCAP or similar BOS contract.KBR Benefits
