KBR leads the government services world contingency market by providing responsive, full-service logistics support to forces and civilians deployed around the world under KBR’s Strategic Army Portfolio. KBR’s enduring mission support of the DoD Armed Forces dates back to 1992 when we served as the Army’s original prime contractor for its Logistics Civil Augmentation Program (LOGCAP). Today, we have a workforce of ~5,000 people representing 30 nationalities who perform work in 10 countries. Under the Agriculture Cleaning and African Swine Fever (ASF) Sanitization (ACAS) contract; KBR will manage and perform the receipt, storage, maintenance, cleaning and sanitation of vehicles and property.
Job Summary
As a Laborer General Foreman, you will manage and oversee the labor involved in cleaning military material at a single location.
Please note: This position will be located on-site, in multiple countries across the Eastern EU and is contingent upon award.
Roles and Responsibilities
Supervises in-process inspections for compliance with USDA, DHS Customs and Border Protection, and U.S. Army requirements.Directs all Labor Foremen in preparation activities at the reception/staging area, cleaning, sanitization, and re-inspection of military cargo and equipment, ensuring adherence to Government standards and regulations, such as AFPMB Technical Guide No. 31.Responsible for confirming that cargo and equipment are properly prepared for entry into the cleaning area and release to the Sterile/Handoff Area, including reviewing and approving accurate documentation and records.Provides guidance to Labor Foremen on approved disinfectants, cleaning methods, and safety procedures, including the use of personal safety equipment in accordance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.Evaluates laborers' performance regarding contract specifications, schedules, cost budgets, and quality standards.Develops short-term labor schedules aligned with the overall execution plan, manages all labor personnel, and cross-trains staff on critical tasks.Perform other duties as assigned.Basic Qualifications (Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)
Requires a Master’s Degree and at least 10 years of experience. A High School Diploma or equivalent and an additional 6 years of related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.Must have at least 3 years or directly related experience.Requires at least 1 year of leadership/supervisory/management experience. Must have proven experience as a foreman or supervisor in agricultural projects.Requires a valid passport with at least 12 months of validity and 6 blank pages.Preferred Qualifications (Preferred Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)
