Responsibilities The Access and Reimbursement Training Manager (ARMTM) will be responsible for building a training and development curriculum that will facilitate the onboarding of new hires including but not limited to reimbursement processes, technical skills, and business acumen for new ARM team members. Serve as a field-based expert on the reimbursement and patient assistance program processes and procedures, including enrollment requirements for providers and patients. Provide reimbursement training and educational activities for internal and external stakeholders. Responsible for developing and executing the ARM New Hire Training Curriculum, Work collaboratively with the Market Access Commercial Effectiveness and Capabilities (CEC) Team in coordinating access to required Learning Management Systems training materials. Conduct occasional field rides with ARMs to assess broad and individual training needs. Own the Learning and Development plan and end‐to‐end design, development, and delivery of learning initiatives for the MA ARMs including online learning paths, in‐person events, and on‐the‐job experiences. Work independently, with internal subject matter experts to design, develop and deliver solutions that help the team build the needed technical and non-technical skills. Use evaluation metrics to measure impact and improve curriculums, continuously assess delivery process improvement opportunities. Add creative value to the learning team based on career experiences in training, leadership, and effective feedback. Standardize, as much as possible, the training program for the MA ARM team. Manage the development of all training levels targeted toward new hires and existing team members. Visit the field regularly to ensure an in-depth understanding of standards, processes, individual/local needs, and training is aligned with business objectives. Continually assess the training and developmental needs of the team and/or home-office staff to ensure and maintain the effectiveness and compliance of all. Partner with Access Reimbursement Directors (ARD) and leaders to determine the capabilities required and the related training needs, then propose solutions to address those needs. Evaluate trainee performance and keep each employee’s manager informed of progress. Attend various internal and/or training programs for continued personal and professional growth. Maintain consistency with Pharmaceutical, Legal, and Regulatory standards. Ensure employees are fully trained on SOPs, Policies, HUB, and other relevant job portals during onboarding. Coordinate and manage vendor relationships in collaboration with the CEC direct line leader. This role report directly to Director of Capabilities and Leadership Development. Why you? We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals: Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree. 4+ years’ experience in Specialty/Biologics, Oncology, or Vaccines Field Reimbursement experience. Prior experience in delivering Access and Reimbursement Training content. Ability to travel up to 30% including overnights. Valid driver’s license. The ideal candidate will reside in or near Durham, NC or Philadelphia, PA or within a reasonably commutable distance. Preferred Qualifications: Advanced subject matter expertise in ARM technical knowledge, Business Ownership, and Customer Engagement. Ability to prioritize and complete multiple projects with conflicting deadlines. Demonstrated ability to plan and execute in ambiguous circumstances under short timelines. Executive presence in influencing senior decision-makers. Proven results with planning, creativity, and deployment of learning initiatives linked to business outcomes. Knowledge of adult learning principles and practices in multiple learning modalities. Ability to operate independently and handle multiple projects with a high degree of initiative. Ability to operate successfully as a leader in a matrix environment without direct reports. Highly organized, strategic thinker with excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills. Exemplary platform skills; poised presenter. ARM knowledge/experience across specialty, oncology, and vaccines products. Proficient with MS Office including Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote preferred. Why GSK?
