As a Patient Access Representative, coordinates appointments for VIP and Signature Care patients, managing multiple communication channels to schedule procedures and tests across departments. Assists patients without a primary care provider (PCP) to establish care and schedule appointments. Supports tracking of key access metrics and ensures high-quality service in line with Parkview Health standards.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred. Experience: Experience in customer service or healthcare operations required. Experience with Microsoft Office preferred. Skills: Proficiency in general computer skills, internet use, and Microsoft Office applications. Strong keyboarding skills and ability to operate a multi-line phone and standard office equipment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Professional telephone etiquette, strong organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail. Creative and forward-thinking approach when faced with challenges.
