PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Access Control- Customer Service Assistant to join our team in providing exceptional service and support to our clients. If you have a passion for technology, customer service, and problem-solving, we want you to be part of our dynamic team.
Role Overview:
As a Access Control- Customer Service Assistant, you will play a critical role in configuring servers, handling software and hardware installations, and providing ongoing customer service support. You will respond to inquiries promptly, maintain licensing processes, and ensure that customer needs are met with the highest level of service. This hybrid position will require you to work primarily on-site, with one remote day per week.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Configure servers and clients per customer specifications in a production environment. Install and configure Windows desktop and server OS, DB applications, and desktop/server hardware. Handle software license requests and generate licenses to support customer needs (via phone and email). Respond to customer service inquiries in a timely manner via phone and email. Maintain the customer support database and ensure accurate record-keeping. Use Salesforce, Oracle, Outlook, and other tools to complete daily tasks. Work with third-party software licensing integrations (Milestone, Blue Diamond). Coordinate with Order Entry and Support teams for account and license accuracy. Update Standard of Work formats to maintain the highest level of department knowledge. Required Qualifications: At least 1 year of customer service/IT support experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer skills. Experience with customer support ticketing systems. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively. Strong verbal and written communication skills, especially when documenting technical information. Ability to work in a hybrid environment, with 4 days on-site and 1 remote. Preferred Qualifications: Associate’s degree or technical college degree (or equivalent experience). Technical writing skills and experience documenting procedures. Flexibility to adjust work schedules as necessary to meet customer demands. Why Join Us?

Pay Details: $23.44 to $32.81 per hour
