Our client, a leader in engineering solutions, is seeking a Lead Engineer - Access Controls professional to join their team. As a Lead Engineering professional, you will be part of the engineering department supporting critical projects. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Access Control Engineer
**Location:** Houston, TX
**Pay Range:** $60.00-85.00 per hour
**What's the Job?**
+ Review and enhance existing cutover procedures, ensuring comprehensive documentation of roles and responsibilities.
+ Gather and document requirements for EBI reports, designing and implementing new reports based on stakeholder needs.
+ Assess compatibility of existing TWIC registration server with EBI and implement necessary data integrations.
+ Facilitate pre-cutover and hot-cutover activities, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with regulations.
+ Manage post-cutover activities, including data extraction and stakeholder sign-off to confirm system operational readiness.
**What's Needed?**
+ Proven experience in engineering project management, particularly in cutover and integration activities.
+ Strong documentation skills with the ability to create detailed process and requirement documents.
+ Experience with data systems and reporting tools, ensuring accuracy and performance benchmarks.
+ Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and facilitate effective communication across departments.
+ Proficiency in managing timelines and project schedules to ensure alignment and successful execution.
