Role Purpose
As the Access Engagement Leader in Diagnostics Global Access & Policy (GA&P) you will be part of the Access Engagement Chapter, accountable for enabling affiliates access readiness for prioritized areas to accelerate commercial success now and in the future. You will do this by providing support and capabilities to overcome the main access challenges in key disease areas, by supporting affiliates in developing plans to address their above-disease areas access challenges and by building a strong global-regional-affiliates access interface and community that catalyze learning sharing
You will be responsible to
Act as catalysts and coach for regional and affiliate implementation of global market access strategies for prioritized on-market and launching products by:
identifying key access gaps and access clusters to tailor global access strategies to different local needs in collaboration with global and regional partners
supporting regions and key markets in the launch implementation of MV prioritised launches to accelerate time to reimbursement
coaching regions and affiliates on appropriate product positioning, access ambition and continuous guidance for regional and affiliate execution
partnering with regions and key affiliates to unlock market access opportunities for key on-market priorities
being an active member of GA&P PODs and global and regional teams by sharing access insights and supporting integrated strategy development for on-market priorities
leveraging and initiating communities of practice ensuring to connect the relevant subject matter experts to help to identify and tackle common needs
Create a framework that enables an efficient transfer and delivery of global strategies to regions and affiliates and architect a system for which the voice of affiliates is embedded in the creation of high impact global access strategies
Support regions and affiliates to identify and address above brand access barriers by building plans and networks that aim for the creation of sustainable Health Care Systems
Understand local needs for access capability building and lead projects to address
Catalyze learning, sharing and collaboration through the Access community
Support regions and affiliates to address above brand and brand related access barriers, providing strategic direction when needed and leveraging and initiating communities of practice ensuring to connect the relevant subject matter experts
Tailor and support piloting and roll out of global access and policy initiatives leveraging the OneRoche approach
Engage local senior management to catalyse access resources and initiatives
Actively contribute to continuous improvements within the Global Access and Policy department
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in business, finance, economics, health economics, life sciences, public health, public policy, marketing or a related discipline; MBA or other Graduate or higher-level Degree in science, business or a related discipline is preferred
6 or more years of access experience in the diagnostic /pharmaceutical or related industry. Multidisciplinary experience working in a variety of functions within and beyond Access is preferred
Significant experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a matrix team environment; strong, existing relationships with key healthcare systems, decision-makers and influencers; significant consulting/project work experience in access is strongly preferred
Mix experience at both affiliate and global levels preferred
Ability to work in a matrix organization and lead diverse teams to achieve common goals with a track record of effective strategic decision-making.
Capabilities to deliver impactful messages / strategic recommendations to a broad range of stakeholders internally and externally.
Broad access knowledge combined with strategic thinking and strong business acumen
