Access Governance Manager

Summary:

WTW is seeking an experienced Access Governance Manager to lead and drive its access governance initiatives and support the broader identity strategy delivery within WTW. This role is pivotal in ensuring robust identity and access management (IAM) practices while maintaining compliance with global regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will manage a team across India and Manila, ensuring seamless execution of access governance processes and strategies.


Role:

This role will support the IAM Governance responsibilities within WTW and includes activities such as;

Manage and mentor access governance teams located in India and Manila, fostering collaboration and efficiency across regions. Define, implement, and refine the organization’s access governance strategy in alignment with business and regulatory requirements. Oversee and enforce strict User Access Review (UAR) timelines, ensuring timely and accurate completion of reviews. Manage and support audits related to SOX, SOC2, HIPAA, NYDFS, and DORA for applicable applications. Ensure access governance activities meet regulatory standards and address audit findings promptly. Partner with LOBs to streamline UAR processes, including application onboarding. Identify and mitigate risks associated with access governance to maintain a secure and compliant environment. Track and report UAR completion rates, access exceptions, compliance trends, and other access governance metrics to senior leadership. Continuously evaluate and improve access governance workflows to ensure alignment with organizational objectives. Develop and enforce access governance policies and procedures that ensure security, compliance, and efficiency. Experienced leader of global teams with broad understanding of developing people using a variety of methods to support multiple career journeys. Comprehensive experience of the Identity domain to provide input, support and challenge to the strategy, procedures and processes delivered on our modernization journey.

 

Requirements:

Certification in relevant domains (CISM, CISSP, CCSK, ITIL).Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.12+ years of experience in access governance, identity and access management, or similar domains.Proven ability to manage teams across multiple locationsStrong understanding of IAM tools such as Microsoft Azure, SailPoint (IIQ or IdentityNow), CyberArk, or similar platforms.Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as HIPAA, NYDFS, SOX, and DORA.Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on risk mitigation and compliance.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with global stakeholders effectively.In-depth experience with SailPoint (IIQ / IdentityNow), AAD, AD, CyberArk. Familiarity with access governance best practices
