This position will support all of UVA Health entities (UVA Medical Center, UVA Physicians Group, UVA Community Medicine and School of Medicine). This position will be responsible for sustaining improvements and changes made to scheduling tools, templates and processes in order to provide better access to patients. The role will serve as liaison between front line Access and Clinic Operations, SOM Physicians and APPs, Capacity Management, Epic, and Quality and Standards teams to ensure consistency, effective communication and continuous improvement. This person will also be responsible for learning their departments’ decision trees and templates in order to understand the implications of potential changes. He/she will support data needs and validate any proposed changes against agreed upon standards and guardrails.

This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs.
