WHAT TO EXPECT
Join JLR as an Accessories Feature Owner, where innovation drives exceptional client experiences. Accessories operate as a standalone function within JLR, delivering a diverse range of products that enhance and optimize the ownership journey. Collaborating with core business units and halo product teams, our mission is to ensure every accessory aligns with the identities of JLR’s brand houses while meeting global compliance standards.
Reporting to the Accessories Attributes Manager, you’ll work closely with Attributes and Engineering teams to develop accessory and supplementary feature requirements during off-cycle and early programme stages. If you are passionate about quality, continuous improvement, and innovation, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
Develop robust feature requirements through use case mapping, physical/virtual assessments, and data analysis. Collaborate with system engineering teams to establish targets and requirements (e.g., via RMDV, Doors, TRM). Lead benchmarking and futuring activities using customer insights and internal tools. Report feature development status to meet programme gateways (e.g., FSOIs within TCDS). Act as the primary contact for feature development, ensuring effective communication across teams.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
Proven experience in a systems or vehicle integration environment, with exposure to feature development. Ability to translate customer usage scenarios into actionable system functionality requirements. Knowledge of engineering technologies and a strong interest in global industry trends. Experience defining and delivering feature requirements using industry-standard documentation. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
This is your opportunity to shape the future of JLR’s accessory offerings. Work in a dynamic, collaborative environment that values integrity, unity, and innovation. Together, we’ll redefine automotive excellence and enrich the customer experience.
