The Department of Student Health is seeking an Accommodated Exam Coordinator to join the Student Disability Access Center (SDAC). This role involves coordinating the scheduling and administration of accommodated academic exams for students with disabilities who have approved accommodations. The coordinator will collaborate closely with the Assistant Director and the Accommodated Exam Specialist.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate the administration of accommodated academic exams for students, ensuring all accommodations are met.Assist with all aspects of exam administration, including greeting students, maintaining exam integrity, printing exams, and monitoring time limits.Maintain the overall testing center schedule, arranging additional testing space during peak times such as midterms and finals in collaboration with colleagues in the Provost and Registrar’s office.Generate regular reports on accommodated exam usage and statistics.Serve as a resource for student proctors and staff on best practices for administering exams and maintaining exam integrity.Demonstrate effective problem-solving techniques in addressing issues that arise before, during, and after exams.Serve as the primary exam coordinator during evening hours.Ensure exam integrity through monitoring cameras installed in each testing room.Proctor exams in person or via Zoom as needed.Collaborate with the Director and SDAC staff on initiatives to educate university faculty, deans, administrators, families, and students about disability issues and learning support systems at UVA.Provide advanced administrative coordination to support office operations and special projects.Arrange business travel, coordinate meetings, and manage agendas and expense tracking.Compile data for preparation and editing for senior leaders.Review and respond to correspondence, screen callers and visitors, and handle confidential matters.Manage electronic files and produce reports.Serve as the point of contact for facility, equipment, or service calls.Organize meetings and prepare materials for special events.Perform other duties as assigned.Compensation:
Anticipated hourly rate: $22-$23.
Hours:
The schedule may vary throughout the year. For the Fall and Spring semesters, a typical weekly schedule may be Monday to Thursday from 12 PM to 7 PM, with occasional weekend hours during busy periods such as finals.

Education: High School diploma. Bachelor's may substitute experience.
Experience: Four years of relevant experience. Bachelor's degree may substitute for years of experience.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require walking some distance to attend meetings, and programs.
