Accommodations- Groundsman/Janitorial Attendant Starting at $15.50 per hour

POSITION OVERVIEW: Ensure guest satisfaction through campground and bath-house cleanliness, responsiveness to guest needs, and always maintaining a guest focus. Ensure excellent communication skills when dealing with all the guests and the Accommodations team.  Implement the Accommodations Department and Darien Lake goals and policies.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Ensure guest comfort and satisfaction by promptly and effectively cleaning camp sites, rental sites, bath-houses, and outdoor common areas, responding to guest calls, trash pick-up, assisting maintenance, assisting camp hosts, cleaning back of house areas along with assisting with the maintenance of the overall appearance of the hotel and campground public space, and daily maintenance functions when necessary.Responsible for being the night housekeeper in the campground; bringing supplies to guests and helping guests with their needs. Ensure integrity of all guest areas by daily inspections and reporting.Exhibit excellent guest service skills by demonstrating a thorough knowledge of all staff, room locations, amenities, park features including locations of attraction, rides, costs, and other general knowledge including the general Darien Center/Buffalo area.The Groundsman / Janitorial Attendant position is an outdoor position; it is required that you are able to work outside in various weather conditions and dress appropriately for the weather.QUALIFICATIONS:Minimum age 18Preferred to have or be in pursuit of high school diploma or GEDNYS Driver’s License is required
