Position Overview

The Account Coordinator primarily supports the Digital Account Manager with Personal Lines Insurance renewals and quotes as well as other administrative support functions designed to improve customer data quality, communication, and overall customer engagement. Reporting to the Digital Team Lead, the role provides prompt, accurate and courteous service to support our client partners with their insurance needs as well as Account Managers and peers within the organization. The ideal candidate should have strong communication and organizational skills, a background in Personal Lines Insurance and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate client records, notes and documents (per Account Manager instructions) in agency management systems.

Enter/renew policies and insurance policies in a timely fashion for assigned clients in agency management systems.

Assign tasks and activities within automatically launched activities in agency management systems.

Complete all reports and assignments to support the region as it pertains to agency management system records.

Execute administrative tasks and reports to support clients, the service team, and other internal departments with compliance related projects.

Complete assigned tasks from the customer relationship management system.

Download/request carrier invoices, save/distribute as requested by client or internal teammate.

Prepare data for carrier files to quote and for all business submissions.

Manages personal lines changes and endorsements on file.

Investigates and resolves complex service issues.

Assists with renewal updates.

Follow instructions provided by the Account Manager, assist in servicing files and accounts.

Attend and complete and role relevant meetings, training sessions, or assignments as required.

Perform other tasks or projects as requested by the service team or region leadership.

Assist the Account Management Team with day-to-day administrative needs such as claims and billing resolution and other service-related items.

Qualifications

Requirements:

Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills including correct grammar, spelling, and punctuations in correspondence.

Demonstrated attention to detail, producing outcomes with minimal errors.

Understanding of insurance concepts as it relates to personal insurance.

Ability to adapt well to change in direction and work in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to demonstrate proficiency with a variety of technology including MS Office.

Works well with minimal supervision; able to function independently and as part of a team.

Education/Experience:

High School diploma or recognized equivalent is required.

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Personal Lines Insurance.

Minimum of 2 years' experience in a fast paced, professional office setting is required.

Previous insurance experience is preferred.

Bachelor’s degree or higher is preferred, or equitable experience.

Pay Details:

Annual Salary: $52,000 - $62,000
