Account Development Manager
What You'll Do Avalara is looking for a special someone to join a dynamic company and help us lead a team of Account development Reps to drive continued growth and excitement of our products and bring opportunities to our sales teams. The Account Development Manager will oversee a team of 10 – 12 individuals. Through training, feedback and mentoring this group of Account Development Representatives, you will lead the way for some of our greatest future talent! Train, and manage a team of Account Development Reps responsible for creating Outbound sales opportunities through the ABM (Account-based Marketing) Motion Motivate Individuals and Team to exceed objectives through coaching, weekly one on ones, daily metric tracking and creative incentives. Help create a fun, energetic environment where people love coming to work You will oversee and monitor the effective use of com and other CRM tools Work closely with Sales Operations, Enablement, ADR Managers and SDR Managers to refine processes, talk tracks and update training documentation. Ensure positive and collaborative working relationships with both the Marketing and Sales organizations to maximize ADR impact. Provide ongoing feedback to website developers Marketing and Lead Generation teams to help guide the highest quality responses to the ADR team. You will be reporting to Director, Inside Sales For this role you will have to work all 5 days from office Support US clientele and will work in Night Shifts What You'll Need to be Successful You should have 10+ years of experience in international sales. Min 3- 4 years in sales management for Inside Sales, Business Development, ADR Teams & SDR teams – preferably in SaaS or technology sales call centre and people management role Managed 2 – 3 Appraisal Cycles in an organization. Proven skill set of identifying great talent and scaling a successful team Knowledge of Pipeline Management and Account-based Marketing Strong working knowledge of inbound and outbound tele-prospecting methodologies in a highly automated environment Experience with .com required, Chilipiper, ExecVision/Gong or Outreach ideal.
