This role reports to the Global Alliance director. Responsibilities are Global with a predominant amount of work in North America and continuous coordination with teams in Europe, ME, LATAM, APAC. The position involves global business delivery, overarching global strategy, and cross-functional alignment. They must be able to connect and maintain relationships with multiple client stakeholders, be a path of escalation as required, seek new business opportunities with these clients and grow the business beyond the existing client base. Our ideal candidate is an entrepreneurial self-starter, detail-oriented, adept in the industry and able to be a group leader of functional teams across a large and complex real estate portfolio. This person must have a demonstrated history of business development and client engagement and ability to drive business results in a collaborative, innovative, ever-changing and ambiguous environment. **Key Job Responsibilities** **Leadership and Team Management** + Serves as leader of about 6 different business units and 300+ employees. + Lead by example and model behavior consistent with CBRE RISE values. + Provide formal supervision, talent development and team management. + Mentors and coaches team members to further develop competencies. **Business Strategy & Client Relationships** + Current Industry knowledge and aptitude to successful work and navigate the Amazon environment to meet goals. + Drive innovation, create and implement new strategies and continuous improvement of Client deliverables and services + Serves as primary Client contact and escalation point for staffing or delivery issues + Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to gain support and drive engagement of projects and services + Monitor and alter as needed the programmatic activities to improve procedures, productivity, and efficiency and ensure final services deliverables match Clients expectations and developing market trends + Work closely with execution teams and sales/solutions to accommodate Client requests and generate proposals related to services as needed + Provide sales support to Account Executives, Business Development Executives and Corporate Development Executives on newly developed technologies and applications, including assistance with Client presentations and aid in the generation of proposals. **Operational Management** + Responsible for ensuring involvement of all critical participants to completion of scope and projects. + Ability to respond effectively to sensitive issues. Ability to write reports and white papers per a distinctive style. Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to employees, clients, top management and/or public groups. Ability to motivate and negotiate effectively with key employees, top management, and client groups to take desired action. + Responsible for and aid in budget development and forecast management and explain variances to plan. + Communicate with other Team Leads to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of the program(s) + Partner with internal and external teams as needed to identify, recommend, and implement the right services and solutions based on Client needs **Basic Qualifications** + 10+ years of experience in management demonstrating progressive responsibility and sustainable growth within the construction/facilities industry. + Strong organizational skills, business and financial acumen and adept at multi-tasking. + Excellent written and oral communication skills with a strong ability to communicate clearly, effectively and professionally; demonstrated experience engaging and influencing key stakeholders. + Excellent ability to build trust among colleagues and service partners; sales experience is preferred. + Proven track record of taking ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining all deadlines and critical date obligations. + Expert in developing and managing budgets, forecasts and reporting + Expert in negotiating commercial contracts (master agreements / work-orders). + Demonstrates willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing work environment; deals effectively with varying workload requirements; can shift gears comfortably, manages competing demands, delays or unexpected events. + Able to work with technical and non-technical business owners/partners to overcome obstacles and deliver results. + Self-motivated, able to lead and work both independently and collaboratively within a team. CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Account Director position is $250,000.00 annually [or $120.19 per hour] and the maximum salary for the Account Director position is $275,000.00 annually [or $132.21 per hour].
