We have an opportunity for you to join Samsung Electronics Australia that presents a chance to make an impact as our Account Director in the Mobile Experience (MX) sales team.

As the Account Director for a major telco, the core responsibilities for this role would involve the development of a successful sales strategy and relationship engagement matrix in order to deliver profitable revenue and market share growth.

Role and Responsibilities

Developing short- and long-term sales plans and targets to support revenue growth of Samsung’s Mobile Experience products across both B2C and B2B

Translating strategic intent into practical execution and leading the team to deliver upon each product category growth targets

Build and maintain senior-level relationships across the Account to foster strong brand advocacy, high disposition to growing the Samsung business whilst ensuring a high level of mind-share for Samsung.

Identify, strategise, and capitalise on new business opportunities to maximise growth potential.

Accurately forecasting annual, quarterly and monthly revenue streams

Formulating appropriate sales policies, practices and procedures

Lead and coach individuals within the team to ensure they have the right skills and capabilities to deliver upon goals, drive engagement and deliver a supportive working culture.

Skills and Qualifications

Proven experience in either B2C or B2B mobility sales

Strong understanding of the retail market within Australia, preferably vendor/supplier management experience underpinned by exposure to telco key accounts.

Strong communication skills and excellent relationship/stakeholder management

Advanced use of Excel and Power Point

Excellent negotiation skills and with a high attention to detail

A drive to improve operational processes

Ability to lead and empower a high-performing team, providing clear direction, setting high standards and fostering a collaborative, accountable team culture.

The nature of this role and level of responsibility may require reasonable additional hours over and above 37.5 hours per week and may also require work outside of ordinary hours.
