Account Director - Corporate

The Account Director will effectively manage and grow a portfolio of clients, ensuring their risk management and insurance broking needs are identified and met. You will be responsible for developing existing client relationships and driving the business development strategy to seize new opportunities, contributing to the overall growth of the portfolio.

The Role

Lead a team, manage their performance, and oversee their client service and sales activities. Take accountability for achieving the team’s annual P&L budget. Proactively meet the annual new business target. Participate in selected new business exercises and major projects. Generate and contribute to new business opportunities to support the team's continued growth. Implement and review client service delivery (the WTW service methodology, “Engagement 365”), including holistic discussions on Risk and Retention strategies, as well as multi-tier client contact for all qualifying accounts. Obtain formal client feedback annually for all qualifying accounts. Leverage best practices from across WTW to deploy within the team. Represent the voice of the client both internally and within the teams when decisions are made regarding process, approach, and future strategy. Ensure that every client has an agreed service plan and that client advocates implement every aspect of the plan. Maintain and develop a strong relationship with insurers. Identify development needs and build clear goals to support colleagues’ learning and career progression. Apply WTW Client Service protocols and compliance procedures.

The Requirements

Tier 1 QualificationsPreferably degree qualifiedExtensive Insurance broking and/or industry experience Proven technical skills in coverage and wording reviewExcellent understanding and technical proficiency of claims management processesExperience with the placement and servicing of complex and multinational clientsYou will have attained all regulatory licenses, permissions, and technical or other requirements applicable under local legislation
