Granicus Australia & New Zealand is looking for an Account Executive (Digital Services & Platforms) to be the leading force behind growing our client relationships in the Australia/New Zealand market. Putting our best-in-class software, platforms, services and solutions into the hands of the right people is key. We need a professional who can connect with the right people in the government & public sector, has a passion for making a difference, and knows the Software as a Service (SaaS industry). This position is responsible for proactive government agency outreach and SaaS sales. It begins with lead generation, and continues through all phases of the sales process, culminating in the sales win/close for hi-tech, innovative software platforms and civic engagement solutions.
**Candidates must live in Australia or New Zealand to be considered**What your impact will look like:Generate new business opportunities within the Australia and New Zealand market through a combination of outbound calling, emailingFollow up on marketing campaigns and inbound inquiries, and opportunities generated by attending company events and webinarsManage a robust sales pipeline from prospecting to close and communicate any challenges or wins to the teamGain an understanding of the prospective customer's pain points and educate on Granicus' valueHighlight our differentiators, effectively demoing the product over video conference, and guiding them through the sales processConfidently run product demos for decision-makers of companies varying across all levels of Government.Work closely with team members to achieve sales goals and work collaboratively with our Product Team and Customer Success Team to support and set expectations for customers.Travel within your territory to visit prospects and attend industry events as requiredYou will love this role if you have:Minimum five years of directly relevant professional experience in business development, account and relationship managementProficiency in SalesforcePrevious experience working with government SaaS contracting mechanisms and sales processesExceptional presentation skillsExperience in the Software as a Service (SaaS) and / or the digital services and platforms industryBenefits to you:A flexible working environment.
